As soon as you drive into St. Willibrordus and pass the Flamingos on your left just before you reach the resort grounds, you will see the Hollywood-style WILLIWOOD letters. Opposite to these letters, you will find Williwood’s snack bar and restaurant, also known as Toko Williwood. Here you can go for a relaxed and tasty meal. Especially on Sunday evenings there is a nice crowd of beach lovers who come together here for a drink. The Kabritu Burger, a local treat, is highly recommended! You can only get these at Williwood and the recipe is highly guarded by the owner!
As a customer said on Facebook: 'What else do you want? From the terrace you watch the sun set over the gorgeous landscape while Marfa bakes the best Kabritu burger of dushi Korsou for you...'
Another said: 'It is like coming home. You are out for dinner, but you don't need to wear your best suit. Just try anything on the menu. It's always good.'
Music in Williwood
Sometimes, but mostly on Sundays, a band performs at Williwood, which plays a style that can best be described as up tempo Caribbean music. This is a great night out. And as Williwood is very close to our resort, you are back home in no time. This is where you meet and connect with local life on Curaçao. To quote Marfa: 'Bon Bini (Welcome) to Williwood!'
